1. The grinding force has similar tendency in other grinding conditions in the experiment. The reason for grinding force variation includes: (1) Machine deformation and grinding wheel deformation. Moving heat flux is loaded on the workpiece surface model in simulation[5,6].

And then the grinding fluid enters into the grinding area brought by the wheel, but most grinding fluid has backflow because of the effect of air backflow and high intensity of pressure. Contrasting to the central jet flow condition, the effect of the fluid decreases obviously under this condition. 7, the extent of high pressure is extended due to the higher jet velocity, and the turbulent flow is more severe with the wheel rotate speed increasing. 9 illustrates that the high pressure area is enlarged with the minimum clearance decreasing and the central section of the jet flow bend upward due to the acting force of air backflow.

Base on the conventional twist drill, the new type of solid carbide twist drill which the length-to-diameter radio (L/D) is about 12 was developed with improved parameters of drill point and flute geometry. Study of intensity and rigidity of drill was performed by using analysis software ANSYS Workbench for the theoretical support and technical guidance for the design of twist drill. Tests were carried out to compare the new drills with the competitive drills in terms of tool life, chip breaking, and chip disposal.
